Jan 23, 2013 · However when I try to connect via VPN using LDAP user I'll get "Error: Permission denied" If I check the logs under VPN events I'll see that user tried to log in but failed due to "unknown_user" Action:ssl-login-fail Reason:sslvpn_login_unknown_user. I have tired several LDAP users, so it's not an issue with wrong credentials. Please help out.

One thing that is holding up deployment is getting email alerts of unknown users or bad credentials if someone tried to login via SSLVPN.
