Hello, I have an option to purchase an Asus ROG GT-AC2900 for $199 (AC86U is $249 and AC3100 is $219). Would this be a good idea? I need coverage for a 1000 sq ft main floor and 1000 sq ft basement. I was planning to mesh the N66u downstairs. Thoughts? Many thanks in advance!

Don't upload the file "dd-wrt.v24-18024_NEWD-2_K2.6_big_RT-N66U.trx = 7644 KB" I did it and the my PC couldn't get an IP-address via LAN connection. Was starting the restore function of the router, uploading the origin ASUS firmware again which the recovery tool reported me as restored successfully. I had to wait for reboot.
